Girl's Camp Here We Come!

This is Sarah's 4th year of going to girl's camp. Do you know what that means? She and all of the other fourth years got to go up a day earlier than everyone else and have a 4th year adventure.

4th year adventure = big fun. Sarah is getting off of the zip line. It spanned the whole length of a large meadow. It was sooooo much fun.

I got asked to drive the girls up to Woods Canyon for the 4th year adventure, so of course, I got to stay and have fun with them.

I told the girls in our Ward that it looked really dangerous and that they should let me go first to be sure it was safe. Those nice girls saw right through my reasoning, but they let me go first anyway. Thanks girls!

We got to shoot guns at targets. We weren't very good, but it was lots of fun.

We also shot potato guns - something Sarah and I had never done before. The piece of potato goes into the top of the long, black "gun" and then you spray some hairspray into the gun and pull the trigger and the potato shoots out really far. It was a little cold camping out that night, but it was worth it because we had such a good time.

Being 11 Is Heaven - But It Almost Wasn't!

This is Paige. See Paige smile? She is 11 and opening her birthday presents.

This is Sarah and Allie. They are going to Paige's party. They are going swimming at Kiwanis Wave Pool in Tempe.

See Paige. See Paige blow out the candles on her ice cream cake. Paige is happy!

This is the sign that Paige sees in front of the wave pool. Paige is not happy! Being 11 is turning out to be a disappointment.

Fortunately, Kiwanis Wave Pool had enough people leave that Paige and her friends were able to go in and swim after all. See Paige smile. Paige is happy. Happy birthday Paige!

End Of The Year Awards Ceremony

After we got back from Science Camp it was time for the awards ceremony at Patterson Elementary School. Kaylee won an award for academic achievement this year. Standing behind her is her 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Craig. Way to go Kaylee!

5th Grade Science Camp

Paige and I went to Science Camp May 13-15 and it was really a lot of fun. We shot bows and arrows, hiked, looked for wild animal tracks and ate lots of great food. While we were there Paige had her 11th birthday!

Viva la Mexico!

I'm off to Tehuacan, Mexico! I've got all my bags packed (including the ones under my eyes...my fault)! I feel a little like a missionary must feel, scared and sad to go but knowing that it's what is right and what I need to do.

Grandma Blazzard is wonderful and stocked me up with a lifetime supply (or at least 2 months...hopefully) of medicines and Grandpa Blazzard gave me this last bit of advice as I left their house: Always rememember that you can always go to the Lord. Don't just turn to Him when you need help, turn to Him all the time.

Thanks Mom and Dad for being brave, supporting, and loving and letting me go. Don't worry too much about me, I know that Heavenly Father's watching over me every step of the way :) I love you all bunches and bunches!!!

Photo Shoot

I (Meagan) took Kaylee to Wal-Mart to get her pictures taken and she liked some of the more expensive add-ons but we just went with the basic picture. We did a photo shoot at home and I added (or at least tried to add) some extra touches. I really don't know how to work my camera very well so afterwards Kaylee said "Great, we took about 50 pictures and deleted 20 of them!" Ha! Ha! She's right, but I think we took more than 50 and deleted more than 20 :)

Kaylee had very creative picture ideas! Here are a few of them...
She built herself a tent in this one.

Oh no! Not the poisonous apple!

Kaylee (aka Snow White) is waiting for true love's first kiss!

And they all lived happily ever after!

Order Up!

Since Mom and Paige are at science camp Dad took us out to eat! Yum! We went to In-N-Out and got tacos at Jack in the Box.

We love you Dad!!! Thanks!
