Partying in Park City!

Me and some friends went to Park City today just to get out of Provo for a bit...we needed an adventure (and a break from school)! Park City is a ski resort town (basically a tourist trap-but a great place to window shop/people watch). Don't worry, I only report my "chunkiness" but I DO do school/work stuff...I read Tuck Everlasting on the drive to Park City for my children's literature class.

Oh, this is a really random picture! Look in the background. There's a tree in Park City that has tons of shoes tied to it...I couldn't resist getting a picture :)

Oh Technology!!!

I had to narrate a story/poem for my technology class using Photo Story 3, it's a free download for PCs from Microsoft. It's really easy to use! My partner and I had a fun time doing it, but we ran into some technology difficulties when we were trying to submit it to our teacher. It took us 2 hours to get it submitted (we had saved it incorrectly and in the wrong format)! That's super sad because it only took us about 30 minutes to make!

Ha! Ha! Isn't technology great?

Paige and Kaylee, I hope you don't mind that you're in the video, your pictures were just perfect for it!! I'm sure no one in our family's room looks like this right now...right? I spent a few hours mucking out my room last Saturday because it was a bomb and I had lots of old assignments to go through and throw away...I'm learning you definitely can't (and SHOULDN'T) save everything!

Photo Booth Pics

One of my roommates is engaged! Me and another roommate went with her to the bridal fair last Saturday and had fun in the photo booth. Obviously we don't believe in "say no evil" but we definitely don't hear it...yep, I kind of messed that one up!

Mystery Solved!

Can anyone tell me what's wrong with this picture?

I'll give you a hint....
Bingo!! An empty toilet paper roll!
Although we have 3 bathrooms in our home, this is what tends
to be found in all of them. I got pretty fed up with this so I
decided to find out who the toilet paper thief was.
Any guesses?

It didn't take a team of CSI agents to solve this mystery.
After much interrogation, Paige finally cracked! For family
home evening that week we spent our activity time learning
how easy it is to change out the toilet paper roll. We're still
working on mastering this concept but we're doing a lot
better!

School Fun!

Remember when I didn't like chocolate...well, those days have been over for a long time. For my technology course my partner and I created a 1st grade math lesson last week using M&M's and the graphing tool on PowerPoint. I'm creating a digital story next week in technology so I'll try to post that next week. I went to a sleepover last night with the girls in my Provo Elementary Education group. We talked lots, played Taboo, and watched a bit of Lion King (we're true future teachers).
