Mother's Day

Hope you had a great Mother's Day Mom! Mom, you do a lot of behind the scenes work but don't think that we don't notice.
Love you!
10 Things We Learned From Mom
1. There are some books that you simply can not put down (Mom's really a bookworm but that hasn't rubbed off on all of the kids...yet).
2. Always do what you're asked, even if you don't think you're up to the challenge. Whom the Lord calls, He qualifies.
3. Thrift shopping makes you more excited when you find an amazing deal (Dad says she has neophobia-fear of anything new-but we all know she's just a smart shopper).
4. Food storage-supporting our beds one can at a time...
need we say more :)
5. Country music is great to sing along to (but Mom's always open to listening to new things).
6. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.

7. Serving others really makes you feel good inside.
8. You don't have to be a thrill seeker, life throws you its own thrills-Mom's taught 3 of us to drive (and has 3 more to go)!

9. Be brave-Mom's taken us on lots of trips and made them fun...we're just now realizing how half the time she didn't really know how to get where we were going but we had no idea because she always made us feel safe and comfortable.
10. Gardening isn't so much a green thumb as it is patience and persistence.
