Perfect attendance? Most library books checked out? Nope, definitely not! Last night at her 9th grade awards assembly, Sarah got an award for having a GPA of 3.5 or above for five consecutive semesters. Congratulations Sarah, we're proud of all your hard work!
Mesa's mayor was at the event too and he was a hoot! He said the only award he ever got in junior high was for "best teeth." After it was over, we saw him in the lobby and Allie saluted him and Sarah walked right up and said "Hello Mr. Mayor." Those girls have guts!
