Those 3 Magic Words
Today, Matt spoke to me those three magic words that every Mother loves to hear from her son.... "Mom, I'm employed." Hurray for Matt, he got hired today to work for the City of Mesa in the Parks and Recreation Department. Way to go!
Vance has had a couple of jobs on and off throughout high school, bless the people in our ward who have seasonal jobs like hanging Christmas lights, window washing,potato farming, and odd jobs around their businesses. It has been very good that he can focus on running. But, it is time for Vance to buckle down. I told him he could chill until the last week in June and he better tell me those three sweet words or he's gonna be sorry he has no gas money to get to MCC come fall. Yeah for Matt!!!
Where's the helmet and protective body gear? Matt is one of my favorite cousins and I must insist that he wear a full suit of armor (preferably one from Bedknobs and Broomsticks)before he is allowed near the bike again.

That was Nathans first job too. He taught soccer to children. Way to go Matt!
