Happy 21st Birthday Meg!

This is the smile Meg gives when she is feeling squirty.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing! (At least it wasn't celery)

What a cute baby!

21 things we love about Meg...

1. Kids love her and so do adults!
2. She's a great piano player. Mostly because she's the only one that kept taking lessons.
3. She busts out into song randomly. -She's our own High School Musical
4. Her hair is so wavy. (We are jealous!)
5. She's always a good listener. Even when you just need to vent.
6. She's the cutest girl ever, don't cha know?!
7. She is really accident prone, but we love her anyway! No broken bones, but plenty of scars.
8. She will eat anything! (Except maybe celery.)
9. She makes you feel good about yourself.
10.When she was little she had huge eyes and she used to hang onto my hair like a baby
monkey. Boy, do I miss those days. I can't believe you are 21!
11.She's positively positive! She really can make the best of any situation. If any of you want to be on The Amazing Race, pick Meagan for your team!
12.She loves to read.
13.She's more than halfway done with her college degree. Yeah, only 3 more semesters!
14.She's going to Mexico for 4 months this summer and we think she is so brave.
15.She likes Disney movies. When we play "can you guess the movie quote" she can hold her own.
16.She can plug her nose with her upper lip when she swims. It's quite a talent!
17.She is a hard worker. She is totally supporting herself at BYU.
18.She can speak Spanish.
19.She is a great friend!
20.She is really funny and sometimes when she smiles she has a mischievous look
in her eye that we love. (Refer to the 1st picture to see what we mean.)
21.She is the only child in our family that knows how to drive a stickshift.

Still squirty after all these years! We love you Meg!

Busy As A Man Can Be, He's Our Bishop!

Today, Richard was sustained as the Bishop...
AGAIN! We had lots of crazy times, but lots of fun
ones too when he was Bishop 4 years ago.

He is a good man and we are glad that he is willing
to take another spin at being the Bishop.

It's Time to be Chunky!

This is my motto for this semester. One of my friends gave me the analogy of the peanut butter at the end of last semester. She said that too many people are creamy peanut butter and spread way too thin, we need more chunky peanut butter! I'm really going to try this semester!

Great news! My classes have been wonderful so far (I'm really going to like my children's literacy class-an excuse to read, yay!) and I got a job today as a math research assistant (this is elementary school math-I'm an elementary education major, NOT a math major). Looks like it'll be a great semester-with plenty of chunkiness:)

Homeless man? Nope! Just our Dad! :)

One day for Disneyland our Father, whom we love,
decided to go out in public looking like this....
a hobo!

Well....Dad took it a little too far. After
all the hobo name calling from his famiy
he began to really act like a hobo!

Let me add that this was right in the middle
of California Adventures! There were people
stopping to laugh at him as we took these pictures.
He gathered quite the crowd.

Then, he began looking for change. Thankfully,
he wasn't begging for it!

We drew the line when he asked us
to take a picture of him digging change
out of a water fountain.
We love you Dad, but we do have our limits!

More Christmas Fun!

These pictures are from Allie's camera. Just so you know, the ladybugs are just as bad as the teacups (but the girls still love them)!
Check out our styling 3-D glasses. Paige is striking a model pose.

Look at our cute explorers! They would have given the Crocodile Hunter a run for his money!
"There's nothing more toxic or deadly than a human child. A single touch could kill you." -Mr. Waternoose. No worries though, it's just Matt, he's not as toxic as the average human. He's one great guy!
They arranged themselves according to height, not age-although people often think Matt is older than he is, once somebody thought he was Meagan's husband :)

Paige and Meagan blast into the future on a ride in TomorrowLand.

Wall-E...every girl's dream...or so I've heard. Eve (aka Allie) loves that movie! Woa!

Our California Adventure!!

We went to Disneyland for Christmas this year! We had lots of fun as a family! Paige and Kaylee loved the teacups and wanted to spin them as fast as they could! Dad loved a rollercoaster called California Screamin'.

Sarah is the churro-eating champion! She ate 6 of them! Paige was not impressed with churros, she said they taste like sugar-covered chicken nuggets (yuck!). Our family went to McDonalds after a long day at Disneyland...look at what it takes to feed our herd! Matt thought it would be cool to drink a glass of syrup while we were at Denny's and Sarah paid him a dollar to do it (Matt doesn't even LIKE syrup).

We went to the beach, but it was cold and rainy so there was not much swimming going on (but we found lots of sea shells). Matt fed the seagulls his leftover popcorn and what did they do? ATTACK!

Mom and Dad thought they would show off their musical talent by joining the Miner 49er band at California Adventure. They play a mean washboard! The kids were crying because they were laughing so hard!

Let it Snow!

It snowed today. It's beautiful! I'm walking in a winter wonderland
